Also, MTV news helped the development of NMN TV news as it has a similar target audience so you know what news to share.  1b) You could research the data that BARB collected.  Also, you could look at the views on YouTube.  1c) One technical convention of music tv programmes is editing techniques such as cut aways and non diegetic plus diegetic sound. This would be needed to plan for NMN TV news so it the screen cuts away to a certain video or image while the presenter is talking about that topic. This will help the audience understand the situation better.

Conventions means the features, elements and production methods of media products. The two types of research are primary and secondary. A PSB company is a public service broadcaster so it is not for profit and has to cater for a variety of cultures. It has an ethos where programmes inform, educate and entertain. A commercial company is a company that aims to make a profit. They have advertisements and sponsorships.

Above the line methods- Bus wrapping, billboard and Advert to go on radio, internet or TV. Below the line methods- Private emails to chosen people, Social media posts and hashtags e.g. 4music twitter account and personalised adverts. Competitions where products are sponsored. 

KTA 8- Equipment needed to film TV and health and safety

To film TV you need a high quality camera so you can get the best shots possible and you also need people capable of using the camera effectively.
