Task 5- 3 Primary sources

One primary source of information is to interview an expert in music tv for example Allan Goodman. An advantage to this is that it is one on one so you are getting the relevant information straight away.  A disadvantage to this is that the person may not be willing to be interviewed.

You could also watch a show and analyse its conventions. An advantage to this is that it is easily accessible. A disadvantage for this is that the information may be out of date if the show is old

You can give surveys or hold a focus groups for your target audience. An advantage to this is that it is easy to distribute the questionnaires. A Disadvantage is that it may be difficult to take the information if you get a lot of answers
